Congratulations to the Harker Heights High School Junior ROTC archery team for winning its own invitational tournament Saturday with a team score of 1609. Kaden Nguyen was the highest scoring male and Aaliyah Johnson was the highest scoring female in the event.

Killeen ISD parents learned strategies for building confidence and improving communications with their children to lead to greater academic success during recent Calm and Kind Series sessions.

Trimmier and Haynes elementary schools began the STAAR testing season with exciting rallies Monday to motivate students to do their best. Congratulations to all the hard-working teachers in KISD who have prepared students to do great on the STAAR!
